Oooookay. Been a while, huh? Well, I've been running. Now between Facebook, MapMyRun, my excel spreadsheet and my calendar/diary, I have too many places to update about my runs to have time to write here. Ok, I don't actually put anything in facebook ... it updates automatically for me. But think about it ... why bother with this? Nobody else can read it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say something to the effect that I am back into running. I have just made my 5th week in a row with at least 3 20 minute workout days. I am on the verge of my first 100 mile month, and it is only the second month of the year! And my half marathon training seems to be right in line. By the way, all of this running helped me have a great weekend of hiking last weekend. Definitely better than last year, and last year's trip was just awesome!
So every once in a while I'll write something here. The road is definitely better with all of the ice gone. Oh, and today was my first run for 2009 wearing shorts instead of long pants. That seems to be pretty monumental. So I'll keep plodding on. Steady racking up of the miles. keep going. And so forth ....
