3 mile lunch run

Remember how we used to run every day at lunch? The same old roads down to Kyle park and then back up the bike trail? Remember that hill at the end of the run, then walking past the pool on the cooldown? I don't know how long it had been since I had run this routine, but it all came back to me today.

I changed up my gym workout schedule, and it was "cooler" today, so I decided to run during lunch. It was nice and sunny, the temperature after the run was 78 degrees (relatively warm for me) and the wind from NNW was 11 mph. I got all sweaty, but it was good. And apparently I liked it because I ran faster than I've run in a while. Of course, it wasn't dark, and I wasn't trying to push myself awake. So maybe that had something to do with it. All in all, it was good to get back out again. At least I'll be familiar with running the bike path again. And I'll see everyone out there again. Until they start hibernating from the cold. Then it will be just me again.

Distance - 3.04 mi; Time - 26:05; Pace - 8:35
