Easing back into groove

Well, running on Saturday just didn't work. I got in just over a mile with Charlie, and he ran a really good quick pace for the whole time. But Saturday just turned out to be way too busy with everything going on. We'll have to see how we can time this coming weekend to be able to get in a decent long run.

Ran this morning, the 4 mile thing in 33:28 for a pace of 8:16. Looking at the running plan, this week is supposed to be a transition into the "maintenance" phase. Wed and Thur running 4 miles easy, and then Saturday running a long run. I think I may have taylored that in. But the maintenance phase changes over to running 5 days a week. It's a transition, so we'll have to see how it works out. So, we'll be doing several new things. Running on Sunday. Running up to 30 miles per week (building up to that). And continuing to run into the cold weather. Who knows, maybe I'll have to change things up and find a treadmill. Well, cross that one when it occurs. Until then, plod on ....
