3 mile easy run

Hmmm ... easy run? Well first of all, I was supposed to run yesterday morning, but I only halfway set my alarm. That's when you set the time but forget to turn on the alarm. So I woke up early this morning and hit the road. After walking Charlie, I started the 3 mile run and ended up running 3.21 miles in 27:03. That's a pace of 8:25. Just a bit quicker than the recommended 10:41 pace. Ok, was I cheating because I used music again? Or was it since Glynis told me the night before that she wanted me to try to wake her at 5:30? Well, I didn't really kill myself, so I guess it wasn't a bad thing. The interesting thing will be to see if I make my 7 mile long run tomorrow. There is a lot to do with painting and stuff (and getting the kids off to camp tonight!) so I'll have to see how the long run goes. Hopefully it does go.

And next week will be really interesting as the "Road Tales" hit the road for a business trip to Mexico. Hopefully I'll still be able to get in a couple of days of running, probably on the hotel treadmill. I'll also add in travel notes, since this blog isn't limited to running only. It's basically limited to whatever I end up typing!
