I read over the description of my blog and noticed that I said I wasn't going to record food, rest, weather, etc. Well, I am recording weather, so I don't know why I wouldn't want to record the others. I'll give it a try.
First, food. Yesterday at lunch I ate a way large plate of spaghetti. But I forgot that I got about halfway through it and then left it in the microwave. Last night, we had chicken nuggets and shells and cheese. Then this morning, ate a grapefruit, and made oatmeal with almonds, protein powder and flax seed. It was when I was putting the bowl in the microwave that I discovered yesterday's spaghetti. The spaghetti made it into a container for lunch. My morning snack didn't start until 11:30; it was a handful of almonds. Lunch just started at 3pm.
Next rest. Went to bed relatively late at between 11 and 11:15. Woke up at 4:45. That would be 5 1/2 hrs of sleep.
Then the run. It was 36 degrees out with winds from the southwest at 23 MPH. Yes, that is pretty strong. Weather was definitely changing. Earlier it was kind of sunny, but now it was cloudy. Ran from the plant out to the bike path starting from the city park. Ran north on the path until the 1 mile mark. Turned around and stopped at the start. Walked back around the city park for a little extra time. Passed a couple of guys walking their dogs. Overall a good run. Ran just hard enough to keep warm, but between my pace and the consistent wind I didn't experience a lot of sweat.
Total Distance - 2.22 mi; Time - 19:31; Pace - 8:46
