1/18 - Treadmill run: Today got late. Busy all day, so ended up running on the treadmill at the gym. Easy 2 mile run, so not much to say. Felt fine, sweat a lot, watched some basketball, Syracuse at Notre Dame. Orange was winning.

1/19 - Short tempo run: Started out really not feeling like running. Ready to use the weather as an excuse. But Josh was gonna run, so I went. Started with an energy sapping headache, but as we ran I felt better. After we were well past the first mile, I asked Josh if he wanted to run 4 instead of our usual 3. He said ok, and I said that we'd pick up the next mile or so. So we did and I think we both felt like we were gonna die by the end of that 1.70 miles. My first time to do a hard workout with someone else. Then the last "hill" he wanted to pick it up again. I didn't start out following him, but then I did. I may regret that one! Ok, maybe not. It was definitely a good hard workout! It was a bit cool out at 32 degrees with winds from the west south west at 4 mph. It was cloudy the whole time, but at least there was no rain or ice!
