This was a semi-rough run. I think this was the day I decided to try to run each day to make up for skipping last week. The schedule said to run speedwork: 3x 1600 @7:58 with 800 jogs + warm up and cool down for a total of 7 miles. Really? In one hour of lunch? Besides the fact that the track is snow covered! And I really wasn't feeling that up to pushing myself when I got out. It was 32 degrees out - not that cold, and the wind was pretty negligible at 7 mph from NNW. I ran out toward Kyle Park via the bike path, but I felt like I was low on energy. So I ran just over a mile and walked 2 minutes. Then I ran the length of the park drive and back to the middle parking lot and walked another 2 minutes. Then I finished off running over a mile and a half. I felt better afterward, but it was a rough one. I wonder if I crossed some kind of invisible border between lethargy and activity? All I know is that I have kept up the running the rest of the week.
